In today’s society, jewellery has almost become a necessity for women. It is usually the case that they are provided with jewellery from a young age and then the tradition is then carried on throughout their lives. It is now common for women to have different pieces of jewellery, which are specific to certain outfits for different occasions. These may only ever be worn once, making the jewellery item an added accessory for that particular function.
Women have many different options when it comes to jewellery. Earrings, bracelets, necklaces, rings, anklets, body jewellery (nose, belly, lip, etc) and even nail jewellery are just some of the main areas in, which women can purchase jewellery items for themselves.
Most popular would have to be earrings. Many, if not most women, at some point in their life have had their ears pierced. However, even if they have not gone through this process, earrings are still available in the form of ‘clips’, whereby, instead of inserting the earring through the ear lobe, a small clip is used instead.
Women even have jewellery for their teeth, another crave, which has escalated over the last few years. Small, diamond like pieces are inserted into one of the main tooth’s and acts as a body ornament, which can be quite visible dependent upon the actual person.
Body jewellery has also become very popular amongst women in particular. More information on this can be found in our Body Jewellery section.
